Privacy Policy

This policy describes the information used by the current Shavigo service. It is baseline operational information and has not been represented as having been reviewed by a lawyer.

Information you provide

Shavigo processes account and profile information such as your name, email address, optional username, display name, bio, location, phone number, website, public profile links, and notification preferences. Public profile fields and active links are shown when you choose to publish them.

Uploads and competition content

The service stores profile avatars, competition thumbnails, competition descriptions, rules, media links, prize details, and Creator-provided reward payment proof. Avatars and approved competition media may be public. Reward payment proof is stored privately and is available only through authorized application access.

Activity and integrity information

Shavigo records competition joins, game attempts and outcomes, point transactions, leaderboard activity, saves, follows, reports, moderation actions, approval history, notification activity, and security events. Basic server information such as IP address, request details, user agent, timestamps, and technical logs may be processed to operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the service.

How information is used

Information is used to provide accounts and public profiles, run competitions and server-authoritative games, calculate rankings, generate final results, deliver notifications, review abuse or security concerns, support Creators, and maintain the service.

Service providers and external links

Hosting, email, storage, infrastructure, and other service providers may process information as needed to operate Shavigo. Creator-provided external links and YouTube embeds are governed by those third parties' own practices. Shavigo does not claim that data is never shared in circumstances required for service operation, safety, legal compliance, or protection of rights.

Optional website analytics

If enabled by Shavigo and you consent, Google Analytics 4 may collect website usage and campaign information to help us understand visits and competition journeys. Shavigo does not send email addresses, phone numbers, or payment details in analytics events. The analytics script is not loaded until you choose to allow it. You can decline or withdraw this choice at any time.

Registration protection

When enabled, Cloudflare Turnstile checks registration requests to help limit automated abuse. Your browser connects to Cloudflare for this check, and Shavigo sends the temporary challenge response and the request IP address to Cloudflare for validation. Registration security events store a keyed hash of the request IP address rather than its raw value; challenge responses, passwords and email-verification links are not included in these events. These signals support authorized review and do not establish that a person is a bot. Reviewed registration security events may be removed after 180 days; open cases are retained for review. Server logs, account records and backups have separate retention requirements. Contact support for privacy questions.

Your choices and updates

You can update supported profile fields, public links, notification preferences, and security settings through your account. Privacy practices may change as the service develops; updates will be posted here with a revised date.
